Here is a fine example and very rare Ferrari Factory built 355 Challenge car that was campaigned in the USA Ferrari Challenge during the 1997 season by Shelton Racing in Florida with Dennis Crowley as the pilot.
In February 2006 it was purchased by its current owner from Cavallino Motors in Ft Lauderdale and brought out here to the Northern California region. Since then it has been professionally maintained and stored by Competizione Motors at Sonoma Raceway.
Still in very original Challenge platform with these modifications
1) Roll door bars welded onto the OMP roll cage
2) Tubi headers and cat delete pipes
3) Spa Firesense 4.0 L electric fire system
4) OMP 6 pt harness seat belts
5) Sparco Pro ADV driver’s seat
6) New MOMO steering wheel
The car comes with a spare set of wheels.
